The Lord has chosen you as His own and desires that you recognize Him as your ultimate inheritance. You are not called to seek worldly achievements, but to look to the Lord for your fulfillment and purpose. Just as the priests of the Lord were instructed to find their inheritance in Him alone, so too must you place your hope, joy, and purpose in God. “The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.” (Psalm 16:5) God’s promise is that, by seeking Him, you will receive all that you need, both in this life and for eternity.
God is calling you to prioritize His kingdom over the fleeting concerns of this world. His desire is for you to remain undistracted by material things and to focus on His divine work. As you shift your heart fully toward God’s purposes, He will provide for your needs in ways beyond what you can imagine. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” (Matthew 6:33) He is setting you apart, that you may walk in His calling with purity and strength, unburdened by worldly attachments.
Your calling is more important than any earthly profession, as it involves the care of souls and the advancement of God’s kingdom. The ministry of a true servant of God has eternal value and touches every part of the believer’s life. When you dedicate yourself fully to God’s service, His Spirit will rest upon you, equipping you to provide guidance, encouragement, and healing to those around you. “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account.” (Hebrews 13:17) God wants you to know the sacredness of your calling and to see it as a precious and essential service to His people.
The Lord desires to see His people prosper spiritually and be filled with His wisdom. True prosperity comes from being anchored in His Word, following His commandments, and walking closely with Him. As you stand in this holy calling, God will not only equip you but also provide divine revelation and guidance to lead you each step of the way. “Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.” (Psalm 73:24).
