God Wants You to Operate with Spiritual Discernment

God is calling you into a deeper level of discernment, especially in the face of trials and challenges. In your leadership, you must rely on His wisdom rather than human understanding or the opinions of others. The Lord is speaking to you today, reminding you that even when others around you may not see or understand the fullness of His plan for your life, He is still guiding your every step. As it is written, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

In the book of Job, we see how even those closest to us, those with the best intentions, can misunderstand the purpose of our trials. Job’s friends, although well-meaning, made false assumptions about his circumstances. God is urging you today to recognize that leadership in His kingdom requires deeper insight—a sensitivity to His voice above all others. You are called to seek God’s direction through His Word and Spirit and to lead others with grace and humility. “Judge not, that ye be not judged” (Matthew 7:1) reminds us to be careful in passing judgment, for only God knows the full picture.

As you walk in your leadership role, trust that God is working all things together for your good, even when others doubt or misinterpret your journey. Trials are not always a result of wrongdoing; sometimes, they are divine tests that refine and strengthen your faith. The Lord says to you today, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way” (Psalm 37:23). Stay close to His Word, for it is through discernment that you will navigate challenges with wisdom and bring glory to God in all you do.

Remember, God’s expectations for you are not always what others may assume. He knows your heart and your path, and He is faithful to lead you to greater blessings. As Job’s story reveals, after enduring the test, God restored him with double what he had lost. “And the LORD turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before” (Job 42:10. Likewise, your faithfulness will result in God’s abundant favor and provision. Trust Him, even when the road seems unclear.
